Alzheimer’s Australia will be asking Australians to do something different this year for Valentine’s Day, by planting a memory to help join the fight against dementia.
Alzheimer’s Australia will be running a Valentine’s Day event across all of Australia’s states and territories, where people will be invited to add a memory to a memory tree to show their support for Alzheimer’s Australia’s ‘Fight Dementia’ campaign.
Dementia is the third leading cause of death in Australia and Alzheimer’s Australia is calling on Australians to work towards a world without dementia.
There will be Valentine’s Day chocolates and a Polaroid photo station to enjoy.
Those who cannot make it to event are still welcome to email their memory to Alzheimer’s Australia, who will add their memory to the tree. You can email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to do this.
