Competitive sport took centre stage around the world this month and residents at Mercy Health aged care homes joined in the action, lacing up their trainers and participating in a range of activities to mark the occasion.

Many RSL Care residents can no longer make the journey into the city for the Royal Brisbane Show but still hold fond memories of farm animals, strawberry ice-creams, cakes, music, sideshow alley and show bags.
RSL Care Talbarra has celebrated Queensland Senior’s Week with a rocking-good Rockabilly themed party complete with music, fashion and fun.
