Lovell House boasts a close-knit community of 40 residents and their families. Staff and volunteers ensure Lovell House keeps a fond place in the heart of all its visitors. Ageing-in-place care is available, accommodating those whose needs progress over time.

Built more than 100 years ago, the gracious Lovell House has maintained all of its heritage features. The rooms are single configuration with ensuite bathrooms. Residents are welcome to bring their own furniture to make themselves feel as comfortable as possible. Phone and internet connection is available.

A comprehensive activities program is available, with events occurring both onsite and outside the facility. Lovell House has a network of volunteers who help maintain the home’s strong links to the local community. They provide assistance and guidance with a range of activities, including reading aloud and using the communal Internet hub.

Meals are healthy, delicious and prepared onsite for residents and their guests. The kitchen regularly consults with a dietician to ensure all nutritional requirements are being met. Food forums give residents the opportunity to contribute their feedback to ensure their preferences are represented in the menu.

Non-denominational Pastoral Care Practitioners offer individualised spiritual and emotional support. Volunteer companions also support the lifestyle program to ensure residents maintain a connection to their chosen faith traditions.

Some rooms have lovely courtyard or garden views, depending on the location of the room. All rooms have close access to common areas, including a living area, dining room and sitting room with beautiful heritage furniture. All rooms have built in robes and air conditioning and are fully lockable for resident privacy. All rooms have their own private ensuite. Rooms are approximately 12.5m2 in size.
