Spacious, sun-dappled living areas are comfortably furnished with quality decorative pieces. There are 45 single rooms, all of which have adjoining ensuite bathrooms, telephone and television connection, hydronic heating and ceiling fans. All rooms are set within close proximity to the common areas and gardens.

The residence has recently been recarpeted in creamy tones which ties in with the grand chandeliers, Tudor-style window panes and warming fireplace. Tranquil, landscaped gardens provide comfort in the open air.

The well-qualified staff at BlueCross Autumndale understand the balance between meeting your needs and intruding on your personal space. It is 24 hour care in which you can safely relax but also enjoy your privacy.

Leisure and lifestyle

There is a focus at Autumndale to maintain an active and social environment. Regular barbecues and lifestyle programs are a prominent feature on the calendar, with a diverse range of activities to cater to many whims and fancies. There are games and quizzes, arts and crafts, bingo, discussions and reminiscence groups. Staff also conduct wood work and other courses in the ever-popular ‘Men’s Shed.’

Entertainers and local church members pay regular visits, making sure there is never a dull moment in the spacious, multi-purpose rooms.

In-house hairdressing, podiatry and physiotherapy services are also available on a fee for service basis.

With Autumdale’s easy and intimate floorplan, the peaceful rooms are never far from any of the common areas. Each room comes with a built in wardrobe, high low bed, an overbed table, bed side table, wall mounted flat screen television, ceiling fans, in room controlled heating and a private ensuite. There is ample space for residents to make themselves as comfortable as possible and bring a cherished piece of furniture such as a dressing table or favourite armchair, as well photographs and other memorabilia.
