Uniting is one of the largest aged care providers in the ACT. They are committed to caring for older people, particularly those who are disadvantaged, vulnerable or isolated. They understand that each resident is uniquely different and have distinctive life experiences, backgrounds, cultures, interests and relationships.

Uniting Mirinjani Weston is a welcoming home that offers high quality, person-centred care for people who require 24 hour professional nursing and support services. Care staff are available to support residents with whatever care they need including nutrition and continence management, nursing and therapies such as physiotherapy. There are also dementia specific beds available.

Each bedroom includes:

  • A bed
  • Bedside table
  • Good lighting
  • Traditional furnishings and fittings
  • Personal storage
  • Each dementia specific room as a private en-suite bathroom

Families and friends are encouraged to visit at any time. There are a variety of common areas including lounge areas, a dining room, small break out areas and child friendly outdoor sitting areas with beautiful landscaped gardens with a dementia wandering path. The lounge area includes comfortable seating, air-conditioning and tea/coffee making facilities.

SINGLE ROOM Room with shared ensuite. The Service offers residents single rooms with shared bathrooms that create home like comforts. Each room includes a bed, bedside table, good lighting, traditional furnishing and fittings. Room size is between 8m2 and 12m2.

SINGLE ROOM (Carol Mailler Wing) Room with private ensuite. Mirinjani Nursing Home has been recently built, the Service offers rooms to residents who require dementia care. Rooms are single with private ensuites in the new Carol Mailler Wing. The rooms are architecturally designed, well maintained with modern homelike comforts, high quality furnishings and fixtures, are well lit, and set in a peaceful environment. Each room includes a bed, bedside table, traditional furnishing and fittings and personal storage. 22m2.
