Aegis Amherst is located in the Perth foothills, providing care and accommodation for 133 residents in beautifully appointed single rooms. Aegis Amherst provides a quality of care that is designed to enrich the mind, body and soul in a safe, secure and friendly community.
Aegis Amherst is a modern, purpose-built aged care home, where residents can enjoy space, privacy and all the comforts of home.
Each bedroom is spacious and well-appointed, featuring an emergency call button, comfortable bed, wardrobe, bedside table and plenty of space to bring along a few items from home.
Residents are encouraged to continue to lead active, healthy and stimulating lives at Aegis Amherst, through a range of lifestyle sessions and activities throughout the week. Activities include arts, crafts, music, physical exercise routines, outings and visiting community groups.
Residents and their visiting family and friends can enjoy spending time in the tranquil landscaped gardens, cosy lounge rooms or in the on-site café for a cuppa.
Meals are prepared fresh on-site every day, with seasonal menus created in collaboration with dieticians and chefs. Special dietary requirements can be catered for.
