With a focus on improving the quality of care for elderly and disabled Australians, ACCPA provides advocacy, support, and resources to its members to help them deliver the best possible care to their clients. The organisation also works closely with government agencies and other stakeholders to promote policy and regulatory changes that benefit the aged care sector.

Australian Aged Care Quality Agency
The Australian Aged Care Quality Agency (the Quality Agency) is an Australian Government statutory agency established under the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency Act 2013 since 1 January 2014. The Quality Agency is an Australian Government statutory agency that assesses aged care services against the Australian aged care quality standards, provides compliance monitoring, information and training to providers, and works to promote quality care for older Australians.

Mental Health Australia
The Mental Health Council of Australia is the independent, national representative network of organisations and individuals committed to achieving quality mental health for everyone.

Provides the most up to date information on asbestos related disease. They have patient advocates that work one on one with patients and their families providing them resources such as: doctors, treatment centers, support groups, informational packets, and much more.

Palliative Care Australia
National peak body for Palliative Care services, providers and consumers.

National Relay Service
The National Relay Service connects people who are deaf, or have a hearing impairment with everyone.

Commonwealth Home Support Program
The Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) is one of the changes being made by the Australian Government to the aged care system to help older people stay independent and in their homes and communities for longer. The CHSP is one consolidated programme providing entry-level home support for older people who need assistance to keep living independently.

Continence Helpline
A team of continence nurse advisors provide confidential advice about bladder and bowel control problems, plus local referrals, free brochures and product information.

Glaucoma Australia
This not for profit organisation is dedicated to providing educational services to raise awareness about the serious and common eye disease glaucoma and support glaucoma sufferers. Offering a number of services which are FREE like telephone counselling on the toll free number 1800 500 880 and Guest Speaking Programs for the public and service providers working in the health and aged care sector.
