Home care is aged care delivered in your home - designed to help you continue living independently for as long as possible.
Services may include:

Services can be funded through government programs, privately paid, or both.
Home Care Packages (HCPs) are designed for older Australians who require ongoing care at home. Packages are funded by the Australian Government and come in four levels:
Level 1 – Basic care needs
Level 2 – Low-level support
Level 3 – Intermediate care
Level 4 – High-level complex care
After a free assessment by My Aged Care, you’ll receive a referral code to connect with approved Tasmanian providers.
The Australian Government is introducing the Support at Home program to replace the existing HCP and CHSP systems from 1 November 2025.
