What is a flexi unit in retirement living?
Flexi units are a retirement living option and is a combination of a serviced apartment and independent living units.
A serviced apartment offers the convenience of apartment-style living, with daily living services such as help with household chores and meal preparation. Whereas an Independent Living Unit is often a detached home within a village complex, which may or may not include daily living services.
A flexi unit allows you to pay for common services you would expect with an Independent Living Unit, however the services are usually paid for on a pay-for-service basis. This means you can pay for services such as laundry, cleaning and meal assistance when needed.
