As part of the changes to aged care announced in 2012, a comprehensive review was included in the Aged Care (Living Longer Living Better) Act 2013. The Aged Care Legislated Review will look at the impact of the changes to date and the direction the system needs to take in the future.
At the end of last month, Assistant Minister for Health and Aged Care, the Hon Ken Wyatt AO MP announced the appointment of Mr David Tune AO PSM to lead the Review.
The Government is seeking feedback from carers and guardians, non-government organisations, state government agencies, local governments, health professionals, the general public, community groups and contracted service providers.
This is your opportunity to have your voice heard.
