Alzheimer’s Queensland Upcoming Free Education Sessions

Alzheimer’s Queensland is offering a series for free education sessions to support service providers and family carers.

You can find details for each session below:

• Hervey Bay – Living Well with Dementia on 3^rd May at the Hervey Bay Boat Club
• Cairns – Living with Dementia on 17^th May at the Cairns Brothers League Club
• Mackay – Living Well with Dementia on 18^th May at the South Suburban Bowls Club
• Brisbane South – Free Dementia Education on May 18^th at the Pacific Golf Club Carindale
• Brisbane North – Free Dementia Education on May 25^th at the Kedron Wavell Services Club
• Toowoomba – Free Dementia Education for Service Providers on 20^th June at the Middle Ridge Golf Club
• Toowoomba – Free Dementia Education for Family Carers on 21^st June at the Middle Ridge Golf Club

Alzheimer’s Queensland is also presenting a one and a half hour seminar providing an overview of dementia. This seminar will explore the meaning of dementia and its major causes, disease features, the stages of dementia, and some important implications for practice.
