Chronos Care's Christmas Collection Drive

This year, Chronos Care held a Christmas donation drive to collect gifts for children from less fortunate families. The residents at both Chronos Care facilities worked together to wrap and decorate the presents. 

On Monday, residents Jo and Val joined Lifestyle Coordinator, Fee Sievers, to drop off their gifts to the Eltham Lions Club.

This group of presents was extra special as Jo and Val from the Alphington Craft Club have been working tirelessly over the last few months to make 20 crochet dolls (all made by hand) to donate as a part of these gifts for Christmas.

With help from Chronos Care residents, the Eltham Lions Club have been able to put together hampers and gifts ready to distribute to around 90 families in need this Christmas.

Residents all loved that they have done their part to put a smile on children’s faces this year, and they would like to make this an annual event to continue to bring joy to those in need at Christmas time.
