Mayflower Acquires Edith Bendall Lodge

Mayflower has taken over the operations of Edith Bendall Lodge in Pascoe Vale, a not-for-profit facility with 60 aged care beds and 14 independent living units. Acting CEO, Dione O’Donnell, says there was a natural fit between the two organisations.

“Edith Bendall Lodge chose Mayflower because of our aligned values and strong commitment to high-quality person-centred care.

“We know residents and families love the warm, welcoming, homelike environment at Edith Bendall Lodge, where every resident is treated like family – and Mayflower is committed to continuing to deliver this.”

Mayflower now has four facilities in Melbourne, including its flagship integrated care community in Brighton.

Mayflower has recently completed a redevelopment of its Reservoir facility, and redevelopment plans are underway for its site in Macleod. The organisation also has planning permits for two new integrated care communities in Gisborne and Keilor.
