on Wednesday, February 7, 2024

The ACCPA Care & Ageing Well Expo will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on February 10 and 11. Entry is free and visitors can register at www.careandageingexpo.com.au to view the full two-day line up of exhibitors and presenters. With an expected attendance for more than 2000 people over the two days, registration is recommended.

More than 80 aged care exhibitors from residential care, home care, retirement living, equipment, service providers, health care, legal and financial, medical, consultants, technology and support groups will also have experts on hand to answer visitor questions at their stands.

New sponsor, Mercy Health, national provider of retirement living, home care and residential aged care services has also partnered with ACCPA as the Principal Sponsor of the 2024 Melbourne Care and Ageing Well Expo.

Mercy Health Chief Executive, Healthy Ageing, Clare Douglas says Mercy Health’s involvement is a testament to its unwavering commitment to fostering healthy ageing for all Australians.

“At Mercy Health, we believe in empowering individuals to embrace their journey with vitality and joy,” Ms Douglas says.

“This sponsorship allows us to partner with an organisation whose purpose aligns with Mercy Health, through a shared goal to ensure that older Australians can live their best lives.

“We look forward to welcoming all of the attendees to the Care and Ageing Well Expo, the chance to connect for two days and speak about how we can best support our community is an incredible opportunity.”

Experts across a wide range of aged care topics such as ageing well, home care planning, caring for those with dementia and more will be featured on the Uniting AgeWell Stage over the two-day expo.

At the centre of the expo the Lounge Retreat provides a lounge area to relax and regroup over a coffee or a bite to eat from the pop-up café with friends or colleagues.

There will also be a help desk and information service and musicians will add to the easy-going style of the expo.

“Our Care & Ageing Well Expo aims to bring all these things together under the one roof to provide a convenient way for people to familiarise themselves with what services and supports are available and can talk to the passionate and informed people who provide them,” says Aged and Community Care Providers (ACCPA) CEO Tom Symondson

“More and more Australians are living longer lives, providing opportunities for them to continue to contribute to their families, their communities and our country,” he said.

The Melbourne expo will be open from 9.30am to 4pm on February 10 and 11.
