Bethanie South Perth Social Centre Open Day

Bethanie, Western Australia’s largest not-for-profit aged care and retirement living provider, will be hosting an Open Day on Sunday 20th March at their South Perth Social Centre, as part of the City of South Perth’s Angelo Street Marketplace. 

Bethanie South Perth Social Centre provides mature aged people with great opportunities to meet new friends, participate in a range of activities, or simply enjoy a social chat over a cup of tea.

Located on Coode Street, crossing over the Angelo Street Marketplace, Bethanie South Perth will be right amongst the action of over 120 stalls lining South Perth’s leafy streets, offering everything from fashion, art and crafts to dog treats and street-eats.

The Open Day event will celebrate the rich history of the Bethanie South Perth Social Centre, inviting passers-by in for morning tea from 10am-11am, a sausage sizzle from 11am-2pm and free tea, coffee, cordial and water throughout the day, with all activities concluding at 3pm.

Children can take part in a special colouring-in competition while their parents take a break from the busy marketplace and enjoy a warm paraffin wax treatment and shoulder massage from Bethanie’s therapy team.

There will also be Thai Chi from 10.30am-11.30am, a sing-a-long to the pianola from 11.30am-12.30pm and a special Caricature Wizard, sketching visitors in a way that will have them crying with laughter, providing a special keepsake to take away from the fun-filled day.
