Join Moran for an Aged Care & Seniors Seminar

When it comes to making decisions about aged care, many families leave the conversation until it is too late. At Moran Health Care Group, care staff meet many, many sons, daughters and other relatives who are faced with having to find an immediate Aged Care placement for their parent(s) at a time of high emotion and stress.

Aged care is often sought after following a fall, a hospital stay or perhaps the passing of a main carer.  

The aim of Moran Health Care Group's Seniors Seminar events is to provide an opportunity for seniors, their families and carers to find out what they don’t know about aged care, well ahead of time and in a calm enjoyable environment.

Who should attend? – Seniors, Carers and family members.

Why attend? – This is a great opportunity to learn about the many aspects of aged care, in a stress and commitment free environment.  Three local experts will be attending so all you have to do is enjoy morning tea prepared by Moran Engadine's head chef, relax and listen to the experts who will make short presentations in plain English, covering the following areas.

• Cheryl Christiansen from Beyond Property Legal Solutions – estate planning and considerations for ageing
• Donald Swanborough from Affinity Aged Care Financial Services –  considerations for retaining or selling the family home; explaining aged care costs; means testing; financing aged care and more
• Natasha Glinatsis, General Manager, Moran Engadine – aged care lifestyle, daily care and tips for choosing the right aged care for you.
