SummitCare to Take Part in the 2016 Hills Winter Sleep Out

SummitCare is participating in the 2016 Hills Winter Sleep Out initiative to raise awareness of homelessness and its causes.

Often, the causes of homelessness is not what many people expect. It can come in the form of couch surfing or those looking for crisis accommodation as a result of domestic violence or financial hardship.

The SummitCare team are seeking donations to support them in spending the night roughing it on the streets of Castle Hill. 

The money raised from this event will go towards assisting the vital work carried out by:

• The Community Foundation of Northwest Sydney
• Hills Community Aid
• The Lisa Harnum Foundation
• Give and Take

All donations are tax deductible.

The Hills Winter Sleep Out gives participants an opportunity to gain insight into what it would be like to be homeless and to rough it on the streets with only a piece of cardboard to sleep on.
