Arcare Purchases Magnolia Manor Residence in NSW

Five star aged care provider Arcare is pleased to announce the acquisition of Magnolia Manor in Kanwal earlier this month, which will now be known as Arcare Kanwal. 

Arcare Kanwal has 128 beds, bringing the Arcare portfolio up to 2591 beds, and consolidating Arcare’s position as Australia’s largest privately owned provider.

This is Arcare’s 28^th aged care residence, and first operational in New South Wales, with three more currently in the pipeline in this state (Glenhaven, which is currently under construction, Oatlands and Warriewood).

Colin Singh, the Arcare Chief Executive Officer, is pleased to be entering the New South Wales market.

“As a growing, family-owned organisation with over 40 years’ experience in seniors living, entering into a new market is quite a rewarding accomplishment,” he said.

“It’s a great validation of how we operate, so we need to savour these moments collectively as an organisation and celebrate these achievements.”

Mr Singh also said that there are no plans for immediate changes to the business and that it will continue to operate as is.

“Magnolia Manor is a beautiful, well run residence with great staff, so we have no plans to make changes to day to day operations in the short term,” he said.

Arcare is Australia’s largest private residential aged care provider with 28 aged care residences, with 10 more residences in the pipeline scheduled to open over the next three years. They also operate a home care division, with private services, funded packages and disability care offered.
