PARO Pays a Visit to Trinity Manor

Residents at Trinity Manor in Balwyn were recently delighted to receive a visit by PARO the robotic seal.

PARO is one of the most interactive healing pets in the world and was designed to be used for animal therapy. The Guinness World Records has approved PARO as the most effective therapeutic pet of its kind.

PARO is incredibly soft and lifelike and has a number of sensors located across its body. It is able to develop a personality over time that corresponds with how people interact with it. PARO has been proven as a stimulating and engaging tool for dementia sufferers all over the world.

Residents at Trinity Manor loved having PARO to stay and really delighted in the therapeutic benefits it brought them.
