mecwacare Rositano House Renaming and Refurbishment

Last month, mecwacare celebrated the renaming of mecwacare Rositano House in Richmond, coinciding with the completion of extensive renovations of the aged care residence. The residents, their family members, mecwacare staff and contractors gathered to officially re-open the home post-refurbishment.

Family members of Maria Rositano, a generous donor for whom the residence was named, joined for an afternoon tea and tours of the updated home.

mecwacare are extremely proud of all the work that has gone into the complete overhaul of Rositano House, and were delighted at the opportunity to show off the beautiful and functional new rooms, outdoor areas, bedrooms and bathrooms on display.

Residents now have increased lounge areas (including an outdoor deck to enjoy the sun), renovated rooms and greater space for recreation and relaxation.

mecwacare Rositano House is now a modern, clean and lively home for people in the Richmond community.
