Fairview Cuts the Cake to Welcome Bolton Clarke

on Wednesday, August 30, 2017

The staff and residents of the Fairview aged care community in Pinjarra Hills have come together to celebrate the announcement of RSL Care’s new name, Bolton Clarke.

The community supports hundreds of people in residential aged care, at home support and retirement living services and was one of the first locations in Australia to showcase the new branding.

Residential Manager Pam Scherman Carr said staff and residents alike were delighted with the new look.

“The name gives us a new identity that is true to where we have come from - we still have a strong connection with our ex-Service community as we have the Kenmore-Moggil RSL sub-branch located on site,” Pam said.

“Our staff, residents and their families have been very positive about the new name, we have had our signage around the site change and received new uniforms the staff are proudly wearing.”

The new name represents the next step after RSL Care and Australia’s most experienced provider of nursing services, RDNS (Royal District Nursing Service), came together in 2015.

The name, Bolton Clarke, recognises the organisation’s shared 210-year heritage and values by honouring two early community leaders: Lieutenant Colonel William Kinsey Bolton, the first president of the RSL, and early Melbourne District Nursing Society stalwart Lady Janet Clarke.

Bolton Clarke is now one of Australia’s most experienced not-for-profit independent living providers, supporting more than 112,000 clients at home and more than 4500 residents in retirement living and residential aged care communities across Australia and internationally.
