Canberra Aged Care Facility Unveils Brand New Suites

Canberra Aged Care Facility has announced the opening of their 14 brand new, spacious and beautifully furnished ensuite bedrooms. The Chifley Pl extension complements the existing The Lodge, which opened just two years ago and accommodates 32 residents. Canberra Aged Care Facility provides a much needed luxurious entry-level aged care residence on the north side of Canberra.

The Lodge and Chifley Pl will operate together to provide a welcoming home-like environment for residents, who will feel comfortable with the knowledge that there are professional , well-trained Registered Nurses and support staff on-site 24-hours a day.

Menzies Pl & Barton Pl at Canberra Aged Care Facility have also recently been renovated and now feature a range of single, twin and twin ensuite rooms for high care needs.

Various areas throughout the home have been completely refurbished, with beautiful lounge and dining areas providing a relaxing space for residents. The Fountain Courtyard is a favourite among residents, where they love to spend time with visiting family and friends.

An in-house chef prepares all meals on-site, providing residents with a range of nutritious and seasonal meal options. Residents can also enjoy a cuppa in one of the on-site cafes.

Canberra Aged Care Facility accommodates a total of 114 residents, with the home located just minutes from Lyneham and Dickson shopping centres. A bus stop is also located nearby. The residence is the most convenient aged care home for those living in the Murrumbateman, Sutton and Eagle Hawk areas.
