Mercy Health Home & Community Care has relocated its Canberra office from the suburb of Gungahlin to Belconnen.
The new office at 5 Soundy Close, Belconnen, was officially opened on Thursday 3 May with Sisters of Mercy and representatives from Mercy Health’s Melbourne corporate office in attendance.
Mercy Health Home & Community Care supports more than 3,500 clients across the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), southern New South Wales and Victoria.
Mercy Health National Director Home & Community Care Amanda Bowe says the Canberra office employs 70 staff and provides disability and community aged care services to 350 clients across the ACT annually.
“With an ageing population and the growth of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) demand for services which help keep people comfortable, safe and independent at home continues to grow,” Ms Bowe says.
“Our new Canberra office is closer to the city centre, and is modern and accessible which will benefit both our clients and staff.”
Mercy Health established in-home care services in 2005 and is an approved Home Care Package and NDIS provider.
Mercy Health Home & Community Care offers services to help with every aspect of a daily routine, as well as nursing and respite services.
