Royal Wedding Celebrations at Resthaven

The Resthaven Murray Bridge, Hills & Fleurieu Community Services ‘Wellness at the Old School’ group celebrated last weekend's royal wedding in style.  

Occupational Therapist, Caroline Tenny, who facilitates the group, says, "Tiara's and fascinators were donned and a royal quiz was enjoyed."

"We shared a toast for the happy couple amongst the festive decorations."

"Guests enjoyed refreshments and afternoon tea, along with great company, of course."

"We are all so happy for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex – what a lovely couple!"

The Wellness at the Old School group runs weekly at the Resthaven Murray Bridge, Hills & Fleurieu Community Services office at 50 North Terrace, Port Elliot. Resthaven Community Services support older people to live independently in their own homes throughout metropolitan Adelaide, the hills, Murraylands, Riverland, Fleurieu and Limestone Coast.

Resthaven’s eleven residential aged care homes are located across metropolitan Adelaide, Murray Bridge, Port Elliot and Mount Gambier, with a twelfth home opening at Aberfoyle Park in July.
