As part of the peak body’s work to educate and motivate health professionals to make positive and effective changes in their practice, Dementia Australia is inviting those working within the aged care sector to take part in a unique masterclass with internationally-known research scientist in the field of ageing – Dr Cameron Camp, Director of Research, Center for Applied Research in Dementia, Ohio USA.
A world leader in innovative approaches to dementia practice, Dr Camp’s Montessori approach focuses on capabilities rather than inabilities to empower both staff and clients, to help improve service support for people living with dementia while at the same time inspire powerful changes within the workplace.
In a highly interactive experience led by Dr Cameron Camp,participants of Master class – Meaningful engagement using a Montessori Approach will explore how to transform their service for people living with dementia as well for their staff to improve workplace satisfaction.
Whether you are a manager, health professional or aged care worker this master class will provide you with practical approaches to transform your practice. Classes qualify as Continual Professional Development.
