Fronditha Care president Faye Spiteri has been inducted into the 2019 Victorian Honour Roll of Women for her work dedicated to social change.
Mrs Spiteri received the honour on International Women’s Day and was nominated for her compassion and leadership in changing the lives of women, migrants and refugees.
The Victorian Honour Roll of Women acknowledges and celebrates the achievements of women in Victoria.
She was nominated in the “change agent” category, which awards women who have made enduring commitments that have brought about significant and lasting change.
Mrs Spiteri’s honour roll noted she was being honoured as an ardent proponent of human rights and gender equality, as well as a woman who campions for the right of women to live free from violence.
Mrs Spiteri is the first female president of Fronditha Care and worked as a volunteer before joining the board in 2009.
She is currently the Chair of InTouch’s Board of Directors, and was previously a Partner at Hall & Partners and a Communications Director for Cultural Perspectives at the Clemenger Group.
