North Metropolitan TAFE (NMTAFE) and Braemar Presbyterian Care are working together to build the capacity and capability of the aged care workforce.
“Braemar Presbyterian Care is aiming to create and maintain a ‘learning culture’ and provide staff with ample training opportunities,” said Bramer’s General Manager – Workforce, Renee Reid.
“We’re very pleased to announce Braemar’s new way of delivering mandatory training to fulfill the needs of our organisation. Whether it’s to learn more about their role or topics that add value to their work-life, we are delighted that North Metropolitan TAFE will be supporting us with training resources and rolling out this unique training initiative which will ultimately benefit our residents.”
NMTAFE’s Managing Director, Michelle Hoad, said the ageing population and ageing workforce have placed an unprecedented demand on aged care providers to attract and retain a skilled workforce to provide a high quality of resident care.
“This partnership with Braemar Presbyterian Care is a great example of how aged care providers can benefit from North Metro TAFE’s contemporary and relevant resources to meet its compliance obligations,” he said.
