In another award win, Braemar Presbyterian Care has taken out the award for Small Budget Marketing for WA in the Australian Marketing Institute Awards.
Awarded for its virtual tours at Braemar Village which enable visitors to ‘walk through’ the retirement estate to assess the available accommodation and amenities, the prestigious accolade was bestowed on the Braemar marketing team at an event in Sydney on Wednesday 16 October.
Braemar Presbyterian Care Chief Executive, Wayne Belcher (OAM), says the Braemar team were genuinely thrilled by the award.
“West Australians are increasingly utilising digital channels to research aged care options and we wanted to enable internet users to gain a complete 360 degree view of Braemar Village,” he says.
“We felt it was important to offer the community a digital method to explore our aged care facilities, providing a real sense of what the buildings, rooms and facilities look like, and we’re absolutely thrilled that our initiative has been acknowledged with this prestigious State award.
“When residential aged care is needed it is often a stressful time for both residents and families. These virtual tours offer the community the ability to view Braemar’s aged care facilities from their computer or device, taking a virtual walk-through the buildings to get a real and true sense as to what we have on offer here at Braemar.
“I would like to pay tribute to the Braemar team for their enthusiasm and commitment to our residents, and for in effect making this innovative idea one that has now become multi-award-winning.”
