Dancing and Drinking at Arcare Parkinson’s Oktoberfest

To celebrate an authentic Oktoberfest at Arcare Parkinson, clients and team members got together for some happy hour drinks and dancing.

One of the clients, Inge was very excited to see the team members all dressed up for Oktoberfest.

Inge is originally from Germany and being able to celebrate her culture’s tradition really means a lot to her.

She also enjoys being part of all the different cultural days and seeing others participate as well.

Team members and clients wore traditional dirndls and lederhosens to complete their classic German Oktoberfest look...and you can’t celebrate Oktoberfest without some beer!

To keep to its tradition, clients and team members celebrated the day with happy hour drinks and beer from the men’s group home-brewing kit!

Celebrating culturally important days during the year certainly brings back a lot of memories and joy for the clients at Arcare Parkinson.
