New Chaplain for the Braemar Family

on Friday, December 6, 2019

Braemar is delighted to welcome Rev. Ross Fraser, who has been appointed as the new Chaplain of Braemar’s Aged Care facilities.

Rev. Fraser’s will offer care and support to Braemar residents, as well as their loved ones, friends and families as part of Braemar’s commitment to the spiritual and emotional wellbeing of those in its care.

Darrell Thatcher, Convener of the Braemar Committee, says the not-for-profit aged care provider was excited to have Ross join the Braemar family.

“The role of Chaplain is an important one at Braemar, as it enables us to deliver on our mission and vision of offering care and friendship to the seniors who choose to call Braemar home.

“Ross will be on hand to offer care and support, comfort and love to our residents, and is going to be an enormous asset to our organisation, we are delighted to welcome him.”

Since 1952, Braemar Presbyterian Care has been offering care and friendship to the elderly in Western Australia. Braemar currently operates three residential care facilities, providing care and support to over 200 people.

Braemar Care’s philosophy is one of Relationship Centred Care, which supports the relationships that exist and develop between staff, volunteers, residents and their families.
