Twins Celebrate 98th Birthday at Resthaven Murray Bridge

On 24 February 2020, Mrs Shirley Brown of Resthaven Paradise travelled to Resthaven Murray Bridge at 53 Swanport Road, to celebrate her 98^th birthday with her twin sister, Mrs Marion Lewis.

Manager, Debbie Lindner, says, "Shirley lives at Resthaven Paradise, and arrived in a taxi at 11am with her daughter, Annette, to celebrate with her twin."

"Marion and her daughter, Margaret, along with other family members, met them at the home."

"Marion joined our site community just this week, and was delighted to spend the special day with her twin sister."

The group enjoyed their celebration in the historic 'Homburg House' lounge, which was beautifully restored in 2018.

Daughter, Margaret says, "Everyone was so lovely to us all and looked after us, and the room was set up so beautifully."

"Mum and my aunt [Shirley] had a lovely day."

"Resthaven and your staff are to be commended for the way they looked after my aunt during her visit."

"Mum is so relieved to have a room at Resthaven Murray Bridge – she is already much brighter, and she has something positive to plan for."

"Thank you so much for everything."
