Catholic Healthcare Appoints New CEO

The Catholic Healthcare Board has announced the appointment of Karen Borg as Catholic Healthcare’s new Chief Executive Officer. Karen will be joining Catholic Healthcare on Monday, 30 August 2021.

Karen brings extensive leadership experience across commercial and government organisations, including as CEO for Healthdirect Australia and Jobs for NSW, and as President - Asia Pacific for ResMed, and Vice President, Worldwide Marketing - Advanced Sterilization Products for Johnson & Johnson.

“Karen is a highly capable, authentic, values-based leader with a strong, personal commitment to building a culture based on trust and transparency,” says Stephen Teulan, Chairman of the Catholic Healthcare Board. 

“Karen’s deep experience in understanding customers’ needs will lead Catholic Healthcare to further develop our focus on residents, clients, patients and their carers, and support our desire to be responsive and innovative.
