Langwarrin Community Aged Care Residents Create Handmade Care Quilt

Shortly after Langwarrin Community Aged Care’s official opening, a wonderful project began between a group of ladies that established a close friendship almost immediately and have cared for each other unconditionally.

It was decided that a ‘Care Quilt’ would be made, with hands and hearts to reflect the love and care they hoped for on their journey together.

After 10-months in the making, with assistance from family, the group have unveiled the finished product.

Their final decision was to use this quilt for residents that pass, as they leave the home, representing ‘care’ until the very end.
