Shoalhaven City Welcomes New 5-star Aged Care Residence

Arcare, a trusted Australian private provider of aged care, is scheduled to open a new five-star residence in Mollymook early October, bringing state-of-the-art amenities and excellence in care to the south coast of New South Wales.

The $36m development measuring 15,000sqm, contains 90 suites within three communities tailored to care needs; Kendall, Mitchell and Florance, names that all have strong connections to the region’s history.

The residence will offer a mix of permanent and dementia care, using Arcare’s award-winning Dedicated Assignment model which places relationships between the residents, their family and team members above all else.

Arcare CEO Colin Singh says, “Our Dedicated Assignment model was first rolled out across Arcare residences throughout 2014 and 2015 and was awarded a 2015 Better Practice Award by the federal government.

The Arcare Mollymook residence is designed with an Industrial Scandinavian interior and is steel framed with a mixture of Hebel, fire rated composite panelling and stonework.

Residents will have access to their own ensuite and communal amenities such as a boutique Café, two indoor Courtyards, open Activity rooms, a Billiard room, Hair Salon, Theatre, Physiotherapy room, Private Dining Room, Community Room and suites with courtyard or verandah access.

Arcare Mollymook is in close proximity to Mollymook Beach and Golf Club, providing residents with a fantastic opportunity to stay active and connect with the Shoalhaven City community in the great outdoors.

The opening of Arcare Mollymook will be creating over 100 jobs and utilising local businesses where possible to support the local economy.
