Crafting Crowns and Toasting Bubbly: Mayflower Edith Bendall's Celebration of King Charles' Coronation

The Mayflower Edith Bendall community recently celebrated King Charles’ coronation with their very own coronation ceremony, filled with excitement and regal splendour. Residents enjoyed a glass of bubbly and hors d'oeuvres, as trumpets sounded and set the stage for their grand event.

Leading up to the ceremony, residents eagerly prepared and crafted their own crowns, which became a highlight of their experience.

For many residents, the significance of the day was particularly poignant, as they fondly remembered the Queen's coronation in June 1953, and reflected on their own memories of that historic moment.

The day was filled with nostalgia and joy, as they honoured the past and celebrated new memories with their community at Mayflower Edith Bendall.
