This week is National Volunteer Week and Prestige Inhome Care is excited to announce the launch of its new Employee Volunteer Day. The Prestige Employee Volunteer Day allows for one paid day of leave for eligible full-time permanent Prestige employees to volunteer with a non-profit or charitable program.
Prestige Inhome Care recognises the positive contribution that volunteers can make to communities and actively encourages its employees to engage in voluntary service. The Volunteer Day supports this commitment to making a difference to the world we live in and enables employees to use a working day to contribute to their chosen cause.
“So many of our employees exhibit a strong willingness to help others and to give back to the community. We see this in their dedication to their work and to the clients they help support. The Prestige Volunteer Day can extend on this and foster their community spirit,” said Thea McCroary, COO.
The Prestige Employee Volunteer Day is just one of the ways employees embody the Prestige mission of “making lives better”.
“There are many wonderful opportunities for them to volunteer with our partners, who include MND Australia and Dementia Australia. As an aged care and NDIS provider, Prestige employees may also seek to volunteer with charitable organisations that do amazing work to support and uplift the lives of our clients and their families,” said Thea.
“The Prestige Staff Volunteer Day will bring personal rewards to our employees, create a better connection to our community and enhance the already respected and thriving culture of Prestige Inhome Care.”
