Catholic Homes has shared the wonderful news that Associate Professor Rosanna Capolingua, a valued member of the Catholic Homes Board, has been honoured with the prestigious Member of the Order of Australia in the 2023 King's Birthday Honours. This esteemed recognition was announced by the Honorable David Hurley, the Governor-General of Australia, in acknowledgment of Prof Capolingua's exceptional contributions to patient care, medicine, and her inspiring role as a female leader.
Catholic Homes Board Chairman John Ogilvie extends his warmest congratulations to Prof Capolingua for this well-deserved accolade. He expresses great delight in learning about her achievement and recognises the immense fortune of having someone as talented and dedicated as Prof Capolingua sharing her remarkable skills with the organisation.
Prof Capolingua became a member of the Catholic Homes Board in May 2021, and many may remember her outstanding service as the State and Federal President of the Australian Medical Association. Since starting her career as a General Practitioner in Western Australia back in 1985, she has held numerous influential positions in the health sector, serving on senior committees, task forces, executive teams, boards, and even as a chairperson.
Catholic Homes are incredibly proud of Prof Capolingua's achievements and are grateful for her invaluable contributions to patient care and medicine. Her commitment and leadership serve as an inspiration, particularly to women in the field.
