Cooking up a storm: meet Arcare Oatland’s former chef Somi

Arcare Oatlands has a chef in their midst. Resident Somi Miller ran a restaurant in Manly called Somi’s Thai Restaurant. People from all over the world came to see her and try her food. She had a hand in every dish that went out, writing the recipes herself and tasting all the dishes to make sure they were perfect.

She successfully ran the restaurant for 24 years. From this success she published several cooking books.
