Resthaven Opens New Office at Sefton Park

on Monday, May 27, 2024

With a presence in the area for 30 years, on Monday 20 May, Resthaven Paradise & Eastern Community Services officially opened a new, larger office at 255 Main North Road, Sefton Park.

Guests included Steve Georganas MP (Federal Member for Adelaide), Dana Wortley (State Member for Torrens), and Claire Boan (Mayor, City of Port Adelaide Enfield), who enjoyed a tour of the new premises.

They were joined by Resthaven Board Members, Executive, staff, and clients, who celebrated the new office space with afternoon tea and an official ‘cake cutting’ by Manager, Eli Ulbrich, and Resthaven Board President, Mark Porter .

The building at the Sefton Park shopping precinct, formerly a bank, has undergone a $400,000 refurbishment to ensure it can better accommodate on-site services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, exercise programs, social groups and chronic condition self-management.

The new premises houses around 30 Resthaven staff, who previously worked out of the older office at Manningham, which has now been closed. The bigger space will allow group programs to be conducted on-site, as well as allied health, and is the base for home care support in the area.

Manager, Eli Ulbrich, says, ‘It is an exciting change for staff to have direct client services co-located with them.’

‘With larger, purpose-built spaces, our new facilities will allow us to better cater to older people living independently in their own homes.’

‘We provide quality home care and respite services, and we are looking forward to meeting more people at Sefton Park.’

Resthaven Paradise & Eastern Community Services is now located at 255 Main North Road, Sefton Park.
