Cumberland View is located in Wheelers Hill and we have a proud history spaning over 30 years in providing quality accommodation, care and services to residential and community clients.   Within the same site is Home Care, Retirement Living and Aged Care Living.

Our Home Care Packages (coordinated services) are tailored to meet your individual needs.  They are designed to give you flexibility and control so that you receive the services and/or assistance you need to help make life easier at home.  

Our Home Care Manager can help you by coordinate services such as grocery shopping, cleaning, preparing meals or transport to an appointment as well as assist with the overall management of your home care package.  If its equipment you need, we can also assist you purchase equipment using your home care package funds.  If you are a full pensioner, Cumberland View Home Care do not charge a fee!

Some common services offered through a home care package are:

  • Personal Care – showering, dressing and/or toileting
  • Home Care – cleaning, laundry, bed linen change, shopping assistance and transport to medical and/or social appointments
  • Meal Preparation
  • Support services – medication management
  • Access to other health and related services – assistance with most allied health (Physio, OT, Massage, etc.)
  • Gardening

We only use trusted and qualified agencies that employ carefully selected support workers that are reference and police checked.  They have experience and are qualified to work in aged care.   If you would like to know more, please call us!

There are four levels of Home Care Packages:

  • Home Care Level 1

To support people with basic care needs

  • Home Care Level 2

To support people with low level care needs

  • Home Care Level 3

To support people with moderate / high care needs

  • Home Care Level 4

To support people with high / complex care needs

  • Language: Do not use offensive, profane, or obscene language. We will remove reviews that represent personal attacks.
  • Personal and confidential information: Do not post reviews that contain the personal and confidential information of another person.
  • Spam Content: Please no spam. Reviews should be a genuine reflection of your experience with an aged care provider. Do not include promotional content or advertising in any form. Duplicate material will not be accepted.
  • Telephone Numbers and Web Links: To prevent adverts and spam, we do not permit phone numbers or web links.
  • Hate Speech: We do not allow reviews that advocate against people based on their ethnic origin, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation or age.
  • Aged Care Reviews is not a complaints system. Reviews must be fair and reasonable. Any defamatory statements reflecting a personal experience that has not yet been taken up with the respective provider will not be accepted. If you have a personal complaint to make about an aged care facility we encourage you to contact your provider directly using the details provided on their listing. Alternatively you can submit a complaint via the Government’s Aged Care Complaints Scheme.
