Dementia Second Leading Cause of Death in Australians

The Australian Bureau of Statistics released figures today which show dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease, is now the second cause of death in Australians (rising from third place in previous years), with 11’000 deaths recorded in 2013.

A much loved resident of Seasons Aged Care Kallangur, Connie was born on February 25, 1915 and recently celebrated her 100th birthday.

Arcare Welcomes 10,000th Resident
