Marie Furrugia lost the last of her four grandparents earlier this year. Having adored them deeply, she wanted to ensure that her own daughter and son experienced this special bond. As the owner of a Childcare centre, Marie found a solution that would benefit her children, their peers and enrich the lives of older persons in her community.

Four free information sessions, operated by Aged Care provider SummitCare will be held at Liverpool Library every Tuesday throughout the month of September from 10:30am until 12:00pm. Located at 170 George Street in Liverpool, the four free sessions are set with the theme of understanding your choices, maintaining control and enhancing your health when working through the ageing processes.
The winners of this year’s Australian Aged Care Quality Agency Better Practice Awards were celebrated at a dinner held in Sydney last week. The awards recognise innovation and excellence across Australia’s aged care sector.
