About 200 war widows and dependents have received individual support in accessing health and aged care services this year through a dedicated service being offered by Bolton Clarke in collaboration with Legacy Australia.
Anglican Care held a luncheon earlier this week to celebrate this milestone and honour their members at Awaba House. The Anglican Care Auxiliary was established in 1957 and is made up of a dedicated group of volunteers who have had various levels of involvement with Anglican Care over the past 60 years. The aim of the Auxiliary is to raise funds for Anglican Care and further enhance the lives and wellbeing of residents and consumers.
Four Bolton Clarke aged care communities on the Gold Coast have come together to celebrate fun, fitness and healthy competition at the annual HiJinx games.
When St George & Sutherland Hospitals planned construction of new buildings they knew that the community could play a role in bringing colour and life to the public spaces. Local amateur photographers were invited to submit photos of the St George and Sutherland region with the best ones chosen for permanent display in the new buildings. Free photography workshops were held to make sure member of the community wanting to contribute would have skills to get started.
