As Christmas and the holidays approach, many begin to feel a sense of joy and excitement as they prepare for the festive season. For others who experience social isolation, the holidays highlight feelings of loneliness and anxiety.
The countdown to Christmas began on a high note at St Brigid’s Green seniors community as residents and guests got dressed up in their best formal wear to attend Opera on the Green. The annual twilight event was held on 6 December on the Village Green of Greengate’s Maroubra village. Over 300 guests were tantalised under the stars by the beautiful voices of Blake and Rebecca from Opera Australia.
