The number of people with dementia in Australia has soared to more than 400,000 with an estimated cost to the community of more than $14 billion this year alone, a new report has found. The research predicts this number will climb by another $4 billion in just eight years as the number of people living with the condition continues to rise dramatically.
Alzheimer’s Australia Vic’s ground-breaking, mobile, virtual reality workshop, Enabling EDIE, will be undertaken at Bupa Mildura, with their team among the first in Australia to use the unique dementia learning application.
“It’s the people’s festival. It was a quote originated from the Founding Chair Adelaide Fringe, Frank Ford, who also attended the #SCCFringe Program Launch to share his support.

Regis recently announced that in late February 2017, Regis Home Care will expand its offering, providing services not only in Mildura and Darwin but also in Eastern Metropolitan Melbourne, Victoria and Cairns, Queensland.
