Dear All at AdventCare, Thank you for the Family Update letter. It is lovely to be linked in this way. As mum does not remember the details of her day to share, it is great to see the fun that is occurring. Thank you all for your care of mum & all residents. With kind regards, Jeanette
Thank you to all the beautiful Care staff at AdventCare Whitehorse. This is a wonderful place to live. The new Manager is very caring and helpful. Thank you again Sue
I am so lucky to have seen the growth of Coronella to AdventCare. First a building for accommodation, a kitchen, dining room, lounge and a flat for the Matron. Next units for self-supporting residents which still exist today around the court. Staff and residents were a loving happy family. Gradually a new extension was added where my father-in-law and mother-in-law were cared for in their later years. Now I am here in my late years and I thank God for the dedicated, lovely and friendly caring nurses to help me on my daily journey. The management department will always listen to any problem you may have. I asked one of the nurses why is the staff so friendly and caring and she replied it comes from management and the Christian based care. Don Resident – Whitehorse
I think it’s a wonderful place to live in your retirement particularly if you have a disability. Mabel Resident – Whitehorse
have been here for 14 years and I have been very happy and comfortable. The food is good, there are plenty of activities and things to do and the spiritual program is very important to me. My time here has flown. June Resident – Whitehorse
After searching for many places, there is no doubt in our minds that we have come to the right place for us. The care is fantastic and staff and residents are very friendly and helpful. Keith and Betty Residents – Whitehorse
My father has been a resident at AdventCare Whitehorse for 18 months. From the outset, management and staff were helpful and knowledgeable, smoothly guiding us through admission. I have been deeply appreciative of all staff creating an atmosphere of calm, warm, welcoming inclusion, settling Dad in as he adapted to new routines, new environments, and new people. Dad's life has been enriched with company at meal times in the dining room, and the range of well-organised activities he participates in every week. It has given me great peace of mind to know Dad is cared for by polite, supportive staff. Dad is happy and relaxed and considers himself fortunate to be at AdventCare. I enjoy my visits, knowing Dad is settled, happy and well cared for. Sandra Resident's Daughter
I came to AdventCare Whitehorse 4 months ago and I am loving it since the day I came in. I feel as though a big burden has been lifted off my shoulders. I have found all nurses, doctors and office staff to be wonderful caring people. Before I came here I had to go twice into age care centres for a few weeks at Ballarat with broken bones. I felt that I could not stay any longer. I did not like either place and was glad to get home. But now I feel very grateful to be in such a wonderful home like AdventCare Whitehorse. Thank-you. Ruby Resident – Whitehorse
Very satisfied with the care provided. The staff are extremely dedicated and genuinely caring and it is nice to continue to meet other residents who are happy and smiling.
AdventCare is a very caring facility the staff and Management really care. Highly recommend
