Our dedicated lifestyle coordinators work closely with residents to design a varied and engaging activities program, including crafts, interactive group activities, social outings, and shopping trips. Facilities available to residents include indoor bowls, a workshop, and access to a community bus.
Residents enjoy a wide and varied selection of nutritionally balanced meals, freshly prepared each day. Special dietary requirements and personal preferences are always catered for. Family members and loved ones are welcomed as valued partners in our community and play an important role in the ongoing care and wellbeing of residents.
Before accessing government-subsidised aged care services for the first time, an assessment is required. Applying online is quick and simple, taking approximately 15–20 minutes to complete.

You can complete the application yourself or on behalf of a family member or friend.

I have been visiting AdventCare Whitehorse for a long time now, and I always love coming here to see my friends. They are always happy when I visit. There is a lovely café where we can sit, enjoy a coffee and cake, and chat with other residents and their families. AdventCare Whitehorse is a very well-maintained facility, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an aged care home.

I am so lucky to have seen the growth of Coronella to AdventCare. First a building for accommodation, a kitchen, dining room, lounge and a flat for the Matron. Next units for self-supporting residents which still exist today around the court. Staff and residents were a loving happy family. Gradually a new extension was added where my father-in-law and mother-in-law were cared for in their later years. Now I am here in my late years and I thank God for the dedicated, lovely and friendly caring nurses to help me on my daily journey. The management department will always listen to any problem you may have. My father has been a resident at AdventCare Whitehorse for 18 months. From the outset, management and staff were helpful and knowledgeable, smoothly guiding us through admission. I came to AdventCare Whitehorse 4 months ago and I am loving it since the day I came in. I feel as though a big burden has been lifted off my shoulders. I have found all nurses, doctors and office staff to be wonderful caring people. Before I came here I had to go twice into age care centres for a few weeks at Ballarat with broken bones. I felt that I could not stay any longer. I did not like either place and was glad to get home. But now I feel very grateful to be in such a wonderful home like AdventCare Whitehorse. Thank-you.
