Part of Heritage Care

Heritage Epping aged care is an exquisite and thoughtfully designed home offering the highest quality standards in residential, respite, dementia and palliative care.

Grand, spacious communal areas, large floor-to-ceiling windows and verandas ensure the home is flooded with natural light, creating a warm and bright ambience. It is beautifully furnished and decorated for maximum comfort, creating a peaceful and homely atmosphere for residents and their families to enjoy.

The home’s architecture has also been designed with residents’ wellbeing at its core. Heritage Epping faces the popular Edgards Creek Trail and the home’s layout promotes the stunning wetlands views to enhance the physiological wellbeing of our residents and their guests with many experiencing the tranquility of the countryside. The trail footpath is only metres from our boundary of the home so residents can feel a part of the community by ‘people watching’ while sitting in the garden.

Residents can spend time with their friends at the on-site café or numerous lounges that are located on each floor. There are also cosy ‘snug’ areas in the home to enable residents to enjoy some quiet time for themselves.

Just minutes from Epping’s town centre, our state-of-the-art residential, nursing and dementia care home, is based in the business precinct and can accommodate 148 residents.

New Leadership

Recently appointed Residence Manager Julio Castillo brings strong leadership and clinical governance to the home ensuring exemplary care is provided to each resident, every day.

Heritage Epping is fortunate to have Julio Castillo at the helm bringing extensive health, nursing and management experience. He has been in the aged care industry for almost 16 years previously working for organisations such as St Vincent’s Private in the Cardio Ward, Epworth and Mercy Hospital and BlueCross Aged Care before joining the Heritage Care team.

In a short space of time, Julio has transformed the culture of the home and the residents and his team are loving his energy and leadership qualities.

Heritage Care has collaborated with The Humour Foundation, Dementia Australia, and Tover to open a first of its kind, state-of-the art memory support unit (MSU) for people living with dementia. These partnerships will provide a safe living space that reduces confusion, promotes independence, and fosters joy.

At Heritage Epping’s MSU, a highly flexible, home-like care model empowers residents to live according to their preferences in a stimulating and meaningful environment. Best practice design has been considered so your loved one leads a good life and is socially engaged. Instead of adhering to a set group timetable, the care team will tailor their approach to accommodate each resident’s daily preferred routine and emotional state.
