May Shaw James Scott is a 29 bed purpose built facility. Rooms are bright and spacious with the majority having a shared ensuite.
Located in the heart of the rural North East of Tasmania with magnificent panoramic rural views of rolling hills and Mount Stronach. Located in Scottsdale, the facility is a comfortable 45 minute scenic drive from Launceston, and situated a short 20 min drive from the seaside town of Bridport.
The town of Scottsdale is home to many facilities, including a comprehensive medical centre, a hospital, pharmacy, major banks, and many others services and facilities.
Residents can enjoy spending time in the kitchenettes or sunny courtyards.
The well maintained and lit single rooms, have private ensuite, are carpeted with painted walls, and have electric high/low bed and appropriate furniture and storage areas. Residents are welcome to bring their own furniture when they move in, such as favourite chest of drawers or armchair for reading. The bedroom and bathrooms have emergency call bells monitored by registered nurses 24 hrs a day.
The rooms are located at a short distance to the dining area.
