Lake Sherrin has four residential aged care lodges as well as a number of independent living units. The lodges offer full-time care or residents are able to live independently and access community care when required.

Our residents are surrounded by park and lake views in the eastern bayside suburb of Thornlands. We are conveniently located between the Redlands and Brisbane City. We provide a total of 48 beds, including 12 dementia care beds and one respite care bed. The estate has a total of 105 Independent Living Units, making our estate a thriving peer group community for seniors with a wide variety of care needs.

For residential care residents, our care services operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week by qualified and experienced nurses. We offer our residents care planning for their individual needs and ongoing assessment to make sure our care plan is always working for them. You’ll find your catering, cleaning and laundry all taken care of as well as pain management and therapy services including foot spas, spa baths and circulation boosters.

We believe in taking care of all aspects of health, which is why we offer a social and wellbeing activity program including events and functions as well as chaplaincy and pastoral care. We also have a fall prevention program and offer palliative care.

  • Hate Speech: We do not allow reviews that advocate against people based on their ethnic origin, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation or age.
  • Aged Care Reviews is not a complaints system. Reviews must be fair and reasonable. Any defamatory statements reflecting a personal experience that has not yet been taken up with the respective provider will not be accepted. If you have a personal complaint to make about an aged care facility we encourage you to contact your provider directly using the details provided on their listing. Alternatively you can submit a complaint via the Government’s Aged Care Complaints Scheme.
