mecwacare Announces Home Care Service Growth Across Western Victoria

mecwacare has announced that they have been awarded a contract by Barwon Health for provision of in-home nursing and support services into the Grampians and Barwon regions, extending from Geelong across to the South Australian border. Service coverage will extend both along the coast and significantly inland, especially into the Southern Grampians region.

Services will be coordinated from mecwacare's Home Nursing and Care Services office in Ballarat, which has been renamed the Barwon South West and Grampians Region Service, to reflect the greater geographic coverage of their home care services.

mecwacare also provides Veteran’s Community Nursing and Home Support services throughout the same region to eligible veterans and war widows or widowers who wish to continue living at home, but who need practical support, specific personal care or nursing.
